Icebox Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
I made these for church and was requested to make them again. Tons of compliments on them. I cut the sugar by 1/2 cup because i decorated them with frosting, sprinkles, etc. and didn't want them to be overly sweet.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2008
Good basic recipe. Just as the title suggests its quick and easy. I make this whenever I am making pizza. Sometimes I add herbs or cheese right in the crust for extra flavor.

Ranger Joe Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2005
These cookies are fantastic! I love the mix of texture and the peanutbuttery flavor. We used chunky peanut butter which added even more crunch. I had to make 2 batches of this for Christmas b/c we ate the first batch and didn't have any left to give out to friends!

Basic Biscuits

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2004
These were very good. My husband was craving biscuits with gravy and these were very satisfying. I think I overcooked them a bit because they were rather crunchy (but still good!) when they came out. However they softened up by the next day and were perfect topped with strawberries and cream!

Corn Chowder II

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2004
This was very tasty, however, I did add a few things to it and would adjust it a little next time. First I added some diced up sausage and one diced potato (can't have chowder without potato!!) at the beginning. I also used smaller cans of corn and still think it came out too thick. I would add 2 cups of milk next time, and maybe cut back on the corn even more. I also didn't have red pepper so I just used a whole green bell pepper and I added a little more than a pinch of cayenne pepper because we like it spicy! I'm definately keeping this recipe!

Tomatillo Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2003
This soup was excellent! I made this to use up some tomatillos my mother gave me from her garden. I saw that someone thought the soup was too thin, so I cooked a small potato and blended it into the mixture to thicken it. Then I added black beans and orzo to add a little extra to it and served it with a dollup of sour cream as suggested. Will definately be making alot more of this one!
