Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
'Tis the season for poking and this recipe delivers. I've made this quite a few times now and it's easy and super yummy. Anybody who loves pumpkin is going to flip over this!

Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
This was okay. It definitely didn't turn out like satay from a restaurant. The flavors weren't quite there. Also my peanut butter never ceased to be weird and clumpy although I'm pretty sure that's my fault. Maybe I was super to heat it up or use a different kind of peanut butter. I'm not sure.

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
Omg! This pancakes are delicious! We eat a lit of pancakes of different kinds and this recipe is hands down my family's favorite. I let bananas get old just so we can make this recipe. I do add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and vanilla just because I think it makes it just over the top even better but even as is these are crazy delicious!

Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
This is super delicious. It is really thick & creamy. I've made this a few times now and I think I prefer it with half the peanut butter and adding several ice cubes and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Also, I added a T of milled flax seed. Although all the ingredients are all super healthy - this is actually pretty high in calories - so just be aware if you are counting calories . Them again all nut butters are high in calories so that probably goes without saying. Either way, it's really delicious and super filling if made as is! :)

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
These cookies were pretty easy to make which I appreciate. I made them just as the recipe specified. I didn't give them a five because although these were good - I'd might make them again sometime - but they didn't blow my mind. Maybe I should try the all natural kind as others had suggested. I just used skippy because that's what I had. Overall it was a good cookie, it was just not the best peanut butter cookie recipe that I've ever had/made.

German Apple Pancake

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
This recipe was super delicious. I didn't let it sit over night, I just let it sit while I was peeling and cutting apples and it worked great. I made it exactly as suggested except I doubled the apples. Also, I am not classy enough to have a pan that goes in the oven so I just dumped it in a pie pan & it worked really well. My only suggestion would be use a BIG pie pan because your apples might fall off while it's puffing up if you double the apples like I did. Either way, it was still really easy to make and super yummy. The most tedious part was just peeling the apples. I hate peeling apples and I still think this recipe was worth it so that's saying something! I will be making this again!

Slow Cooker Carnitas

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
This recipe was so good and easy! I had tried to make pork tacos before this recipe and it never quite turned out right, but this recipe hit the jackpot! I made it just as it said cinnamon and all. (I was skeptical.) Everyone in my house loved it - even my super picky 6 year old. I will definitely be using this recipe again!

Milly's Oatmeal Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
This recipe was great and easy! I wasn't quite what this would turn out like but it's delicious. It very much had the consistency of a blondie but with oatmeal. I went ahead and added crushed pecan but it would've been great without too.

Garlic Roasted Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
This was crazy delicious and super easy to make. (not to mention cheap too! Chicken, potatoes, garlic, done.) It is very much a one pan meal! I made it just as the recipe stated using a bunch of cheap chicken thighs and it was perfect! Even picky eaters will like this - at least mine did. If you want a little green at your meal, I would totally recommend microwaving some frozen peas and putting pan drippings on them while plating. It was super delicious and easy. I will definitely be repeating this recipe often.

Easy Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2014
This is super delicious and easy! I did mine in the crockpot. I don't recommend cooking the vegetables like this - I think they taste terrible like this but maybe that's just my personal prefence. The meat is crazy good though! I was lazy and just did the sugar, vinegar, water, garlic, and seasoning packet and it's delish. It seems pretty hard to screw up. Fair warning - this recipe will make your entire house smell... interesting.

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2014
This recipe is so simple that it's hard to be believe it's so good! Like crazy delicious! I've used this now with raspberries and also with blackberries and strawberries and it's always been great! I even skip the butter & used vegan margarine and water in place of the milk. Still delicious! You can't mess it up! Everybody should give this recipe a try.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2013
Delicious & easy! I would've given this a 5, but here's my issue... My hash browns still aren't cooked through (its in the oven as I type) & it's been an hour and 15 minutes. I took it out to taste it @ 1 hr & the flavor was great! I followed the recipe except I omitted parmasean and topped with mozzarella instead, except my potatoes were kind of raw so I put it back in the oven. I thought about thawing the potatoes prior to making but thought surely this step would've been included if it was necessary. So, delicious but be aware if you are in a time crunch such as myself - the parent teacher brunch will have to wait!
