Awesome! Kind of like wilted lettuce. I think this is much better though! Thanks for sharing!

Zucchini and Pecan Saute

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2013
This was good. I only gave it 4 stars because it called for a lot of butter, and I thought it needed some more flavor. all in all I will make it again, but I think I may add a few things to it next time and reduce the amount of butter.

Made this for dinner and although it is paleo I served it over rice. This was excellent and definitely a keeper. made it with sautéed zucchini. Thank you very much!

Wonton Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2013
We liked it because it was a nice light meal, but it lacked flavor and substance for us. Perfect for someone who is trying something for the first time. Makes a nice base for add-is and tweaking. Thanks for sharing!

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2013
Loved the simplicity and ease of this recipe! Had great taste and leftovers were even better the second day! I will never make cabbage rolls again. This was easily comparable in flavor and texture without all the extra fuss and time it takes to make them. Thanks a bunch for sharing!

This was a great solution to get rid of some excess zucchini that is coming out of my garden. Everybody loved it. Makes a nice base recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Unstuffed Cabbage Dinner

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
It was ok, but we found it to be way too salty with onion soup mix. It's great for someone living on a budget since it uses alot of pantry items and a cheap cut of meat. Heathy with the addition of cabbage. An all around complete one pot meal. I also think it makes alot than just 4 servings. I have leftovers, enough for another meal or to freeze for an easy go-to option. Thanks for sharing.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
Love, love, love this soup! I make this at least once a week. It's flavorful and hearty. A perfect soup for a go to winter dish. I have to double the recipe because it goes fast. Just for future reference, if you run out of dill weed or don't have any, don't substitute with dill seed. I did this once and it totally changed the flavor. Thanks for sharing!

Ranch Oyster Crackers

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
Loved it! My Grandmother made this snack all the time and I was trying to find a recipe like hers. This one is very simular, without the lemon pepper. It's a nice base to any dressing mix too. We used Italian dressing mix once and that was just as good! Thanks for sharing!

Vanilla Sugar

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
A good alternative to some vanilla beans I had in my cubbard. I use it in recipes that call for vanilla extract and sugar. I use it in my coffee because it's a nice lean alternative to loaded with calorie vanilla coffee creamers. I just add a splash of milk with a spoonful. Thanks for sharing!

Pumpkin Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2012
This is a great combination! Extremely dangerous since you can't eat just one. I used fresh pumpkin instead of canned which made the batter a little more loose. So I cooked them 15 minutes longer. They didn't burn and came out perfect. Thanks for sharing!

Homemade Biscuit Mix

This was great! I liked the fact that you used oil instead of shortening. I don't particually care for shortening in my biscuits. They turned out fluffy and delicious when baked. Thanks for sharing!

Pumpkin Oatmeal

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2012
I have an over-abundance of frozen pumpkin in my freezer from this years halloween, so I'm trying to find some creative uses for it. I stumbled upon your recipe and it sounded amazing. I made this for my son and I last week and again on Sunday for my husband as well and he loved it too! This is a keeper that's sure to warm you up and keep you full for a very long time... I forgot to mention that it also tastes great! Thanks for sharing!

Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2012
This soup is pretty good! I love the combination of flavor from the dill and bay leaf. That was my favorite part. I didn't have carrots or half&half, used celery and plain milk in it's place. We did find it to be a bit too salty and rich. Next time I'll probably cut the butter down to 3 T. and omit the salt. I served this soup with simple quick biscuits. Thanks for sharing!

Berdean's Cube Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2012
A comforting meal on a chilly fall evening. This was delicious! Cooking on a budget has lead me to some of the best recipes and cube steak can come out tough and inedible if cooked wrong. I had no leftovers. The long cook time made the steaks very tender and flavorful as well. I did however add fresh sliced mushrooms and onions to the gravy while it was cooking. At the last minute, I noticed a half of a package of button mushrooms at the bottom of the frige and needed to use them up before they went bad. (hey! waste not, want not, right?). I served it with real mashed potatoes and a side of peas and carrots. Thanks for sharing!

Bacon Popcorn

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2012
The family and I love just about everything that includes bacon. I keep all of my bacon drippings for pies, tortillas and everything in between. So when I saw this I just had to try it. Awesome! Although I did not add cheese or bits it had enough flavor from the grease. I did add some cajun seasoning and it was yummy! Thanks for sharing!

Pumpkin Black Bean Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2012
Very easy and the taste was good! I didn't follow the recipe to exact because of lack of or taste preferences. I only had 2 cans of black beans so I used a can of chick peas. Only added 3 cups of broth and used 1 3/4 cups of fresh cooked pumpkin instead of canned. I decied to make it vegetarian so I left out the ham. Instead of adding vinegar I used 3T. louisiana hot sauce for some kick. Garnished it with plain yogurt, chopped chives and served it with corn bread. Thanks for sharing!
