Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2013
Loved this recipe. I made it according to the directions using Sweet Baby Rays Sweet & Spicy BBQ sauce. It turned out so good and was just as good for leftovers the following day. This is a keeper.

Weeknight Lasagne Toss

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2013
I have made this several times. It is one of my quick throw together meals when the family is coming over for dinner. I serve it with salad and garlic bread, make a light dessert and I am done. I always use the riccota. I have done both with the noodles, using the no boil and also regular lasagna noodles. I feel more confident using the regular noodles. I boil the regular noodles seperately first, then mix it all together.

Stupid Simple Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2013
This is the second time I have made this AWESOME chicken. I following recipe exactly, put chicken in a 9 x 13 glass dish (I thought it might be too hard to scrape the drippings out of an aluminium pan. It took a little over an hour for a 5 lb chicken. I scraped the dripping out of the dish and made my delicious gravy using cornstarch and water. This is the best gravy I have ever made. No other seasonings were needed. The chicken was juicy, tender and delicious. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Ham and Split Pea Soup Recipe - A Great Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2013
This will be MY split pea soup recipe forever. I have made split pea soup many times, but this is the KEEPER recipe. I started out with a ham bone and simmered it with the split peas, ham, chicken broth, water, and bay leaf while I chopped and sauteed the vegetables. I used canola oil instead of the butter. I also added chopped carrots and sauteed them with the onion, garlic and celery. Then I added the sauteed vegetables to the ham bone broth. I did cook the split peas and ham bone longer than 1 hour 15 minutes, but total time from start to finish was 2 hours as shown above.
