Rum Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2004
my only complaint about this recipe is that even if i pour the rum butter sauce over the cake, and refrigerate to cool, the sauce doen't seem to seep its juices inside it. making the cake dry in the middle once you slice it.

German Chocolate Brownie Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2004
not bad. i used actual hersheys kisses, not finding any other chocolate to bake with and it still turned out great. did the recipe by hand (no electris mixer) and it still worked. just wished it was more moist and chewy. maybe if i added more eggs.

Honey Garlic Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2003
Tried this with chicken. Too sweet for my taste. Also sauce was very runny, was hoping it would be a little thicker, maybe adding some flour to the sauce (which i didn't think of then)...anyway, it is not bad but could still be improved.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2003
Great recipe! The cake turned out very soft and moist. Maybe I'll do it again with chopped walnuts mixed in next time. The frosting is too sweet though. 3 cups of confectioners sugar is way too much! I had to adjust with adding more cream cheese. After adjusting, it tasted perfect. Very easy recipe as well.

Cranberry Scones

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2003
Tried this out a while ago. Used rasins instead of cranberries and it turned out great! It's so easy to do too. For more color though, I brushed the top of each scone with eggwash (eggyolk+milk) so that they come out Golden Brown after baking. Received great reviews from my family. Enjoy!
