About this Cook
Hello! My name is Anna and I'm on the younger side. I love baking, and started when I was nine baking cookies out of a wheat-free, dairy-free, basically everything free cook book when I discovered I had gluten-intolerance. Yucky! Right, that's what I said. But those cookies where AMAZING, and I still have that cookbook now. I discovered that any form of cooking, baking, whatever, can be delish. It doesn't matter what the batter tastes like or the weird types of flour you add- it can turn out amazing if you try hard enough. So, I encourage you, young or old, allergy-ridden or fine, celiac or not, to try some of the recipes I present to you.
My favorite things to cook
Baked goods, but I love to bake Velvet cakes the most.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad makes an amazing apple pie he's perfected for 20 years. Other than that, he's the only one except my brother who bakes. He's the one who inspired me in the first place.
My cooking triumphs
My first allergy-free cake, or batch of good ol' chocolate chip cookies.
My cooking tragedies
Besides messing up on a crumbling plate of Madeleines, nothing serious.

Simple White Cake
Great base recipe! I used egg replacer though, and white rice flour because of my family's allergies. I also used water instead of milk. Turned out scrumptious! :D

Citrus Slush
this was a good base recipe. I added one kiwi, and only half a lime. Plus about a quarter cup of sugar. I found after blending that I had to strain it also. It's refreshing and very good. :)

Dessert Crepes
Extremely delicious! I loved it. I tweaked the recipe by adding rice flour instead of wheat flour, and it came out great. Added homemade whip cream and cherry's. Again, it was great!
