65 year old youngster who likes to cook. I do a lot of experimenting which can be good or bad for my family. Married with 2 daughters and 6 grandkids. Like travel, trains, building models, fishing and camping.

Juicy Roasted Chicken
Made this for Sunday dinner and it is great. Easy to make with simple ingredients. Only change we made was substitute garlic powder for the onion mainly because kids hate onion or even the hint of it but they love anything garlic and used butter instead of margarine. Other than that, did exactly what the recipe called for. Smelled wonderful cooking and it is the juiciest, most tender chicken I have ever had. Leftovers will make great sandwiches and salads. Will definitely make again.

Baked Chicken Nuggets
Made these tonight and they were really good and tasty. Even the picky eater kids liked them and the only nuggets they've ever had came from a fast food place. The only change I made was the bread crumbs. I used Progresso's unseasoned just because, with the thyme and basil, I didn't think the kids would like the extra seasoning and they came out perfectly seasoned. These would make an awesome appetizer when watching NASCAR. Will definitely make again. It's on my favorites list.

Easy Lasagna II
Just finished this for supper and everyone loved it. Even the picky eater kids. It was fairly easy to make but a little labor intensive with the meat sauce and cheese filler being made simultaneously. The best part is the different flavors that come through. Of course you have the cheeses but then there is the flavored meat sauce and the noodles which cooked perfectly. I followed it to the letter and it is one of the best lasagnas we have ever had. Will definitely make it again, that is as soon as the leftovers are gone. I highly recommend this.
