Whole-Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
The batter was extremely dry and crumbly. The finished product was equally dry and excessively sweet. I have a similar recipe which uses quite a bit more butter/margarine in ratio to the rest of the ingredients. Sorry but this did not work for me.

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
Very Moist, and flavorful! Mince some fresh garlic into the mayo. Use leftover mayo and bread crumbs to coat frozen broccoli and cook at same time! YUM.

Pat's Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
Some potato salads are too mustard-y; some are too relish-y. This one is creamy and slightly sweet with just a hint of tangy-ness. My family of seven gave it a unanimous 5 stars! Of course you can add or delete the extras like onion, carrot, egg, celery, etc. but wow, the dressing on this potato salad is Summer's Potato Salad Standard. Great Job Patricia!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
BEST. ZUCCHINI BREAD. EVER. Make this in just one bowl - Mix Well before each addition: Start with Eggs; Oil, (+applesauce is you are subbing it for oil); Sugar; Vanilla; BP, BS, Salt, Cinn, lastly the Flour, Zuke, and Nuts Halving the Sugar works too! Moist (don't drain zuke) High Crown, lovely sweet loaves. TRY THIS! Crumb Topping - YES! Use the one mentioned in reviews, adding 15 min. into baking as recommended. ENJOY!

Cherry Bell Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
Great Recipe! We let them cool on the pan before moving them. See the picture I submitted to see how they turned out. After a few days they are still soft, chewy cookies. My daughters enjoyed making these over the afternoon. Thanks for the new Christmas tradition!

Bubble Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
My family loves this pizza! Do not make my mistake of changing the amount of sauce, like I tried once - I used the entire jar(we like pizza saucy) and the result was that the biscuit "bubbles" remained uncooked. We enjoy this for lunch several times a month.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
This is a wonderful dish. I couldn't get all that bulky cabbage into the 9x13 pan though! I used my roaster pan instead.

Apple Pie Filling

Wonderful recipe! I used this to make the apple cinnamon french toast (on this site) when I had no canned pie filling on hand.

Overnight Apple Cinnamon French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2004
Oh Boy!!! This is the goldmine of french toast recipes!!! I used two 10 inch corningware bake pans instead of the 9X13 pan which allowed for enough room. I also used 16 slices of 12-grain bread which fit nicely in a double layer (8 slices per pan). I had no apple pie filling on hand so I used 1/3 of the Apple Pie Filling Recipe on this site submitted by Terri (thanks for that great recipe too!). The 12-grain bread gave an extra chewy crunch and next time I think I may add chopped walnuts in between the bread layers! Thank you Sue!! :)

Cowboy Cookie Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2003
A very good recipe. I think that 2/3 to 3/4 C. Chocolate Chips would be enough, though. Using my hands to mix really helped. They were moist, chewy, and everyone loved them :)

Gingerbread Cookie Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2003
This was a wonderful recipe. The cookies came out great, nice and chewy. I used this as a Christmas gift for teachers and neighbors, tying on a cute gingebread man cookie cutter with wraphia.
