This is the first recipe that I've actually come back to review in 3 years...so that's saying something. I followed the recipe to the T and it came out pretty good. 4 cups of chocolate chips was too much for me, next time I'll half it. They were "cake like" but not in a bad way. They still got eaten in 3 days.
The second time I got more creative. I used butterscotch pudding instead of vanilla, and butterscotch morsels instead of chocolate chips. And when I put them on the cookie sheet, I flattened and shaped the cookie dough. Baked for about 9-10 minutes and took them out.
I sent a batch to work with my husband, and he said everyone went crazy over them and are demanding to know when I'm making them again.
