Italian Roast Beef I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2013
I used Penzey's Italian dressing seasoning for the "Italian seasoning" and Better than Bouillon beef paste at 3 tsp instead of the cubes....THIS WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS! And now has been added to my permanent recipe box.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2012
OMG! This was heavenly! I read your own comments to other reviews and used 1/2 cup all purpose and 1/2 cup whole wheat. My kids couldn't get enough. I had been looking for a recipe similar to a cornbread I had tried at a restaurant years ago and now have found one that is even better!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2012
My sauce didn't thicken either but I didn't mind. I doubled the sauce and added steamed sliced carrots and steamed broccoli. I cooked 1 cup of rice and mixed in. It was awesome. Oh and I used chili oil instead of hot sauce.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
I doubled the recipe and added a 3.4oz box of instant cheesecake pudding and used macadamia nuts. I also used orange flavored cranberries. I softened the butter and dropped the baking temp to 350 degress and baked longer. These were perfect. Not cakey at all. A chewy and soft cookie. They were not flat at all. Now keep in mind I ALWAYS do one cookie first to "test" the dough and I hold back about 1/2 cup of flour when ever doing cookies. The amount of flour I need for cookies fluctuates depending on the moisture of the environment. It's always easier to add then to take away. I also added the full 2 cups of cranberries a whole bag of white choc chips. My family loved this cookie!

Tartar Sauce IV

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
I love the tang of McD's tartar sauce and had been looking for a copykat recipe for years. This one has the tang I had been looking for. I also add some finely chopped garlic too. I have made it for extended family and always get rave reviews!

Tartar Sauce III

This recipe was very similar to a famous fast food restaurant with the double arches that was with me using dill relish instead of the sweet.

Classic Butter Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
This is the same recipe that my grandma used when she was with us. When ever I make them people ask me from what bakery I bought them from. You do need to add more flour and that will fix the problems with the stickiness without taking from the flavor.
