Curried Butternut Squash Soup

This was absolutely delicious! I subbed coconut milk for half & half so I could have a dairy-free option. It was wonderful the first night and the leftovers were even better the next day!

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

I thought this was very good because I really like rosemary. I followed the directions exactly. Next time I will follow another reviewer's suggestion to start the potatoes earlier. My potatoes weren't quite "done" enough when the chicken was finished. It was still good and I will make it again with the noted modifications.

This was great and I'll definitely make it again! I used andouille sausage and otherwise followed the directions exactly. I am not too worried about the "official" name of the dish - it's got a great flavor!

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

This was delicious and easy, but it took me a while to do all of the chopping (I mince my own garlic). I will definitely make it again. I thought the pepper amount was perfect, but I may use a bit less garlic next time.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

The seasonings blend beautifully. I used a lot more liquid, as suggested by other reviewers. I would also recommend chicken thighs. I have made this twice and not cooked it nearly as long as the recipe states, but both times I've ended up with dry chicken.

It was good enough that I've made it a couple of times. Next time I will make it with 3 cans of beans, however. 4 cans of beans is just too many, even for a family that enjoys beans as much as my family does.

Barbequed Steelhead Trout

I eat steelhead trout on a regular basis, so the fish itself wasn't new to me. I followed the recipe, but then added Cholula to the sauce. I will likely experiment with some other spices, as well. This lacked a bit of zip, but was a good basis for adding additional flavors.

Very yummy - next time I will try to make it on a day when I am not home smell it simmering all day. The house smelled amazing. It also took me a lot longer than 15 minutes to prep, though.

Heather's Grilled Salmon

This was amazing! My husband and I both loved it. It was simple to make on a Thursday evening. I let it marinade for about 2.5 hours before grilling and we grilled the salmon to a medium doneness. Yum! I will be making this again within the next week.
