Scottish Shortbread IV

After reading reviews and comparing to my English grandmother's (hers only 1 1/2 C flour to 1 C butter) , I added 2Tbls butter, used only 3 1/2-4cups flour (was somewhere in the middle) and an estra 1/4 sugar. I used 1/2 brown/white sugars. I think the dough tasted really nice (in the oven now:) and used my kitchen aid mixer, beat it until it was fluffy so I did not knead. For my choc loving son when it comes out of oven will cover top w/ choc chips and spread when melted. Cut before chocolate is hard and ship them off to college. I like that this makes 24, I patted in two smaller cookie sheets so will be thinker than yours so shorter bake time. Grandmas was baked @ 275 for 50 min...don't know if that would change the texture or taste. Thanks ALLRECIPES for recommendations on cookies for shipping!
