Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

This was delicious. I doubled the sauce even though I only cooked 2 chicken breasts and made linguini as a side. I used the sauce from the crock pot to mix in with my linguini. This will be a regular at my house for my husband and I.

King Ranch Chicken Casserole I

This was delicious - I was not able to use as many tortilla chips as I was concerned about the space and I used rotel tomatoes w/green chilies - Also shared this recipe with a girl I work with who also thought it was very tasty. I did think the chips would be crunchy but maybe if I had used more

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

I made this last night and followed the recipe except for omitting the mushrooms and wine because I did not have any. This had no more flavor than when I have just placed everything in the crockpot without taking extra steps. I Was somewhat disappointed that I had taken the time to fry the beef and saute the onions. I did add beef consome instead of water but still no additional flavors that I was looking for.

Consomme Pork Chops

made these last night - used 2 cups of beef broth with a package of lipton onion soup mixed in with it only because I didn't have any beef consome and increased liquid based on other reviews, coverd with aluminum foil and baked 1 hour and they were delicious, moist and tender - I can not imagine baking this dish without covering it. With those changes made, I will definately make again, My husband loved them

Bread Pudding III

This was amazing, just like I had in a local restaurant. The only thing I did differenet was to add a confectioner glaze to the top. I had my sister-in-law over and she couldn't believe the flavor-so easy to make with ingredients you usually have on hand - Thanks for the recipe

Baked Ziti III

This was a great recipe and easy. I also took the advice of others and mixed the sour cream with the pasta. I originally started placing this in a 9x13 pan to find that there was too much to go in so ended up transferring to a deep dish lasagna pan. My kids were home for the weekend and loved it as much as my husband and I.

Weekday Pot Roast and Vegetables

This recipe is absoulutely the best pot roast I have tried. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I used sirloin tip instead of chuck roast and I also didn't read it well enough before I put everything in the Crock Pot and did not brown my roast. I can not imagine it being any better by browning it. Also could not find Campbell's gravy so used Heinz in a jar. Thanks so much for this great recipe

Baked Pork Chops I

Made this recipe tonight and it was delicious. Very moist and tender pork chops. The only changes I made was to make a milk gravy for the topping as I am not a big fan of mushroom soup. Also cooked for 45 minutes then added gravy and cooked an additional 15 minutes. Will definitely make this again and again

Earthquake Cake II

I had my husbands family over and had made this cake in the past with a recipe I had. When I could not find it I looked for it on this site. The cake filling would not get done for me. Family still ate it more like a pudding and said it was good. I found my recipe and discovered that the difference was that mine said to melt the butter I wondered how I was supposed to pour over. I will go back to mine - much better version - also no cake cooks in 30 minutes - I think I was going on 60 when I gave up

Baked Omelet Roll

This was not at all tasty. I think too much flour. It was very dry and stuck to my pan. I also wonder if the cooking time is a bit too long. I may try again with less flour and add bacon or sausage to give some added flavor

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff II

I did not find this recipe extremely tasty. It was very easy to make but did not give the true flavor of beef stroganoff. If I were to ever make again I would try adding more spices.
