Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

This was great. The only changes that I made was substituted homemade tomato sauce (it's thick but pureed) instead of canned. and I used 1 cup of half and half. I also added fresh basil and parm cheese.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Just finished making this. So yummy and just what I was looing for. I did add onions, carrots and celery, so i increased the broth a bit. I also used 2% milk and it came out perfect. Thanks for the recipe and all the reviews.

Szechwan Shrimp

This was awesome. I am glad I trusted the reviews. I used raw jumbo shrimp and left out the red pepper flakes, we don't like too much spice. After a two minutes in the pan I added fresh brocoli. This cooked beautifully.

Rainbow Cookies

I have made this several times. It is great as written. The only thing I do is add a little cream or butter to the meldted chocolate after I cut them into strips/logs. I put the chocolate on three sides and roll them in chocolate sprinkles. Then I slice them into pieces. Everyone loves them.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Amish Bread

I made this a week ago, and tonight I made it for the fifth time. This is the first bread I ever made and now I am afraid to try another recipe, it is just that good. My husband just toasted it with butter and orange marmalade..yummy.

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

I have made this for the 4th time, so I wanted to share how much I like this. I share it with my neighbors and they love it too. When I add the shrimp at the end I also add real crab meat(I shred i) which gives a thicker texture. The only think i add is a few cloves of chopped garlic and omit the green pepper b/c i don't like it. I do not add the rice, I make it on the side and I don't mind the juice b/c I can put it over the rice. I am just finishing my second bowl...yummy

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

I wanted to try this cake, but did not have an occasion or someone to give it to, but did not want to make the whole thing. I cut the recipe to 1/3 and put in mini cupcakes (which made 2 dozen). They were so rich and good. I cannot wait to have an excuse to make it the regular way. I shared with a neighbor who already wants me to make more.

Blueberry Boy Bait

I just finished making this and cannot stop eating it. It is sooo good. I made this a day earlier, which i should not have done, i may eat it all. I did make some added suggestions, i added vanilla to the mix, cinnamon to the topping and used brown sugar instead of white for the topping and used 2 cups of fresh blueberries (they did not sink).
