I'm a single mom to 2 wonderful kiddos, a 2nd grade teacher, and have a passion for cooking! Mixing all these together has proven challenging but I wouldn't change it for the world!

My family has family reunions quite a few times a year, so we all bring our favorite dishes to the get together!
My cooking triumphs
Anytime I can make my family or guests ohh and ahh over a meal...it is a triumph! That is the whole reason I cook!
My cooking tragedies
When I first started cooking as a teenager, I tried to make homeade fettucini alfredo. I don't really know what happened, but it ended up in one big ball of a mess!

Coconut Banana Pancakes
Delicious! I didn't make the syrup, but the pancakes were awesome! The only thing I did different was added a dash or two of cinnamon. It was like eating banana bread in pancake form! Yum!

Hash Brown Casserole II
Followed lots of reviewers tips. Used 1/4 cup butter, cream of mushroom soup, and sautéed the onions. Had a great flavor, but I just didn't care for the topping. Will definitely make again without it!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole
I made a few changes based on others reviews and it was fantastic! I sautéed the onions in a tbs of butter until softened, used a little less sour cream, added garlic powder and pepper, and mixed in half the cheese with the green beans and the rest on top. Made it the day before without the topping, then when I was ready to bake topped it off then in the oven it went!
