Gypsy Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
I would have to give this 3 stars as is, but next time I make this I will add less sherry in the end and substitute remaining liquid with chicken stock. The 30 mins of simmering the alcohol out just wasn't enough and it tasted like I could get drunk from it. My hubby didn't eat it until the next day when it was much better and the alcohol was completely simmered out, but he still complained about the overpowering sherry taste. Good recipe though with a little tweaking.

Mushroom and Swiss Chicken

I give this four stars but with a little tweaking. I suggest to generously douse with red wine vinegar. What it calls for just wasn't enough for me.

Jalapeno Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
This called for too much cinnamon and the basting sauce didn't "stick" to the chicken. Won't make this again.

Mexican Bean and Rice Salad

I didn't have a lime so I used 3 tbsps. lime juice instead. Turned out great paired with "Tina's Best BBQ Lime Chicken" also on allrecipes. Tonight's dinner was a big hit!!

I took someone's advice and peeled the zucchini a little. Used part ww flour. They came out PERFECT.

A great healthier alternative to beans made with fattening bacon. Good stuff.

Sesame Parmesan Zucchini

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2009
I use 2 zucchinis, 4 tbsp. parm cheese, and the rest according to the original recipe. I found the original recipe had too much olive oil, so this is what works for me.

I have better baked chicken recipes. This was bland and boring.

Slow Cooker Tender and Yummy Round Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
I followed the recipe exactly as shown and it came out almost flavorless. Even though some are saying it was too salty, mine came out bland. Won't make this again.

Award Winning Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2004
I didn't really find this chili to be "award winning". If I'm going to go through the trouble of preparing a meal, I want it to taste better than if I had just opened a can. It didn't have a flavor that set it apart from the rest, but it was good.

Stuffed Chicken Breasts with Sweet-and-Sour Tomato Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2003
This recipe definately was not worth the trouble and time it took to make. I really did not like the consistancy of the sauce either.
