Never Fail Applesauce Spice Cake
Easy great cake recipe. I make this A LOT for parties, teachers, school functions. Can't comment on the icing because I never stray from Paula Deen's cream cheese icing.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole
This was a pretty good recipe that needs a few changes IMO. First off, this was really salty. My friends all LOVED it and the pan was scraped clean, but they live on fast food and they're used to the sodium. I mixed the cheddar in with the green beans instead of making one thick cheese layer as suggested by another reviewer, and I'm glad I did. Couldn't give it five stars even though it rocked and I'll make it again. Next time I'll use 1/2 tsp. salt and enjoy it more.

Gypsy Chicken Stew
I would have to give this 3 stars as is, but next time I make this I will add less sherry in the end and substitute remaining liquid with chicken stock. The 30 mins of simmering the alcohol out just wasn't enough and it tasted like I could get drunk from it. My hubby didn't eat it until the next day when it was much better and the alcohol was completely simmered out, but he still complained about the overpowering sherry taste. Good recipe though with a little tweaking.
