Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2003
This was fantastic for such a simple recipe. I used Land O Lakes fat free Half and Half and also added one Tablespoon of cooking Sherry.

Grilled Orange-and-Bourbon Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2004
This is fantastic. We make the marinade and then grill it on a cedar wood plank. It is so moist and full og flavor. You can order cedar wood planks on ebay for much cheaper than your local bbq store.

Mashed Potato Cakes

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
Yummy! I used leftover garlic mashed potato's and added 1 cup of shredded cheddar chesse to the mix. Instead of using the egg white brushed on top, I just flipped the pancakes in the last 5 minutes of baking. They were golden brown on both sides and heal their shape well.

Runzas (meat pies)

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
Oh my gosh these are dead ringers for Runza's from The Runza Hut in Lincoln, Nebraska. It is the only think I miss from the midwest! I made the dough in my bread machine, I added all the wet ingredients first, then the dry, made the well for the yeast and then but the bread on dough cycle. I rolled them into rectangle's like the Runza Hut used to do. They really REALLY rise, so roll out your dough thin. I would like to make dinner rolls out of the dough, it has a sweet yeasty taste, reminds me of the rolls from The RoadHouse grill. I can't thank you enough for posting this recipe!
