About this Cook
I really enjoy trying out new recipes that I find here at Allrecipes. I had always admired all the photos that other cooks were submitting on this site and decided one day to take a photo and submit it just for fun. That started a new hobby of photographing food. I find taking photos and always trying out new recipes makes cooking fun and not like a chore.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook and prepare healthy meals for my family. I try to avoid too much red meat and I have become pretty good at substituting ground turkey in place of ground beef (my family no longer can tell the difference) I love salads and also prepare a lot of chicken dishes. Chicken is so versatile I could cook it every night in a completely different recipe and my family never gets sick of it.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime that I can put a meal on the table that EVERYONE raves over that I just feel that's a huge triumph!
My cooking tragedies
Well..lets see.. I have set off the smoke detector more than once. But since I have never actually burned down the house I guess that was more of a comedy then a tragedy!

Very easy to make and was delicious too! Preparing this ahead of time really made dinner time a breeze. I just added a salad and some rolls and dinner was done. Thanks for a simple and yummy recipe!

David's Yellow Cake
I was a little nervous to try this recipe after reading many negative reviews about it tasting like dry cornbread but I followed Naples advice and this cake came out fantastic. I was very pleased that this cake turned out very moist and fluffy and absolutely delicious!
