Excellent! I was cooking for a large group, so I doubled the recipe and added 3 eggs to the sauce. I added extra cinnamon to the meat and a tsp of sugar. I'm not a fan of nutmeg , so I used some allspice instead of the nutmeg, it was incredible! Also, don't forget to rinse the salt off the eggplant and give them a squeeze, they turn out perfect! I also parboiled some Yukon gold potatoes in chicken broth and sliced them 1/8 " thick and made that my first layer as others suggested to make it more authentic. Give yourself some extra time to make it, it's well worth the effort!. My favorite moussaka recipe yet! No need to look further! Thx! -Peachymojito
