It was too salty for me. I usually omit or halve salt from recipes but I was scared this time...I mean everyone is supposed to hate brussel sprouts, right? Still, I was pleasantly surprised! I will make this again the next time I find them on sale. I was scared of the creamy/mushy middles and halved mine. I wish I had not. The larger halves were the tastiest. The combination of creamy and robust/nutty was the best. I also added a clove of garlic as many reviewers suggested and was pleased with that. Several people suggested removing the choke. Upon google image searching I discovered it was bigger than I would have guessed so search it yourself or do a good strong V cut in it. Mine looked like Pac-man :-)
