Easy Beer Bread Mix

I have used this recipe for years and years. It is always a crowd pleaser. I've also made it with different sodas, even orange soda once when I was desperate! You can add a handful of cheddar cheese too, which gives it a nice flavor for a beer bread. It's excellent as written too.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

These cookies are so moist! I frosted them and took them to a super bowl party and people raved about them. People thought they were from a store bakery. Very delicious and easy to make.

Fluffy Pancakes

My husband and I love having pancakes on Saturday mornings. When I realized I was out of mix one Saturday, I decided to look up a recipe for homemade pancakes. This recipe turned out great. I did add a teaspoon of vanilla extract, which gave the recipe a nice flavor.

Berdean's Cube Steak

This recipe was delicious! I've made cube steak before and always had trouble getting it nice and tender. Cooking the steak longer after frying it definitely makes it juicy and tender. The only changes I made was adding garlic powder and cooking on low for only 1.5 hours. I also added a tablespoon of cornstarch to the leftover juice to thicken it up and make gravy. Great recipe!

Sausage Egg Casserole

This is my go to egg casserole for holiday breakfasts or just breakfast for dinner nights. The cottage cheese gives it a great consistency and the diced chilies add a nice kick that isn't to spicy. The only change I've made is half the cheese. The recipe calls for a whole pound of cheese, which would be two bags. I only do one bag, and it does not take away the flavor at all.

Annemarie's Lemon Bars

This recipe was delicious! Loved the taste of the crust with the lemon custard. Because some other reviewers suggested making more lemon filling, I did as well, and the result was great. I just took the ingredients for the lemon filling and multiplied them by 1.5 to get a little extra filling. Delicious! This recipe is a keeper.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This bread is so moist and delicious. When I made it for the first time, I used 3 cups of shredded zucchini instead of 2 cups by accident. It ended up making the bread extra moist. Now I make it that way every time. This recipe is a keeper, and the bread freezes very well.

Chocolate Surprise Cupcakes

I love these! Such a nice change from the standard cupcake. I've made them for my son's birthday party and will be doing so again this year. Everyone raved about them, and the leftovers were gobbled up in just a few days. They're also great with a cream cheese frosting or butter cream.

Buster Bar Ice Cream Dessert

Baked Macaroni and Cheese III

I always believe in following a recipe exactly as printed before rating it. Besides following the recipe, I also viewed the video that accompanies this recipe. The recipe does not state what size pan to bake it in, but the video does say an 8 x 8 pan, which I think is crucial. While the recipe does have good flavor, I did find it to be a bit dry, and when I think of mac 'n cheese, I think of it being wonderfully creamy. I'm still searching for that perfect recipe.
