Wisconsin Native's Beer Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
This soup is very good and very easy to make. It had little too much mustard for our liking, but that is an easy fix for next time and there will be a next time!

We did not like the flavor of this roast at all. Too many seasonings-couldn't taste the beef

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
I wanted something different, so I used Tuna instead of the Chicken, The soup I used was Cream of Chicken with Herbs. I added some garlic and dried minced onion. I also added some Parmesan cheese along with the cheddar. At the last minute, I decided to add the rice and save cleaning another pot. I added 1/2 cup brown rice and the water I used to cook the broccoli in, there was about 3/4 cup. It worked great for my family of three, My Dad had seconds!

Blender Macaroni and Cheese

The flavor is good, but not very cheesy. I doubt I'll make this again. I think I'll mix some tuna into the leftovers.

Bacon Cheeseburger Upside Down Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2005
There is no way you can cook the bacon, brown the ground beef and chop all the vegies in 15 minutes....Plan for more prep time. The end result is awesome. I made a few additions after reading some of the other reviews. I added 2 teaspoons Italian spice, 2 pkgs crushed red peppers (I had from a pizza delivery). I didn’t measure them, but would guess about 2-3 teaspoons. I also added some grated Parmesan cheese. I didn’t measure that either, just covered the meat mixture before adding the tomatoes and cheddar cheese. I couldn't really taste the bacon and will use sausage and/or pepperoni next time. I will also add some mushrooms and black olives to the mixture.

I didn't have the brandy so I tried 1 tsp lemon extract. The subtle citrus flavor is a nice touch to this delicious recipe.

Cheez-It® Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2003
I added a little (1 tsp) cayenne pepper to the coating. I also baked the chicken as suggested by a previous reviewer (400 for 18-20 min). The chicken was tender and very tasty. There was a little work and mess crushing crackers and dipping chicken, but well worth the time!
