This recipe was awesome! I was hesitant about doing them in the crockpot as I've always had bad results with pork but these were sooo tender! I browned them in the oven then cooked them about 6hrs in the crockpot. Then I basted them with sauce and browned them for about 5 mins in the oven. Definitely easy and definitely a keeper!!

This was AWESOME!! I halved the recipe so I cut everything in half except for the sour cream where I used used an entire 8oz container of sour cream just because it was easier. I also used my own homemade sauce but I'm sure it would be delicious with your favorite jarred sauce so I still gave it 5 stars even tho I tweaked it slightly. Served it with sweet italian sausage in sauce on the side. Hubby said it was delicious and to make it for our next dinner party! We liked the tang the sour cream gave it.

This was very good!! I didn't use the pepperocini's because hubby didn't want them. Used toasted hoagie rolls and provolone cheese. It didn't taste like the Chicago italian beef I remember but it was still excellent! Meat could be eaten as is for main dish. Will definitely be making this again.

Quite good! I used beef broth instead of water and left out the mushrooms as I didn't have any. Cooked it for about 18hrs. I didn't have to add any water. I stirred it and let it cook on high with the lid off for about 20 mins before serving to thicken it a bit. Leftovers were just as good the next day.
