Beef Mushroom Barley Soup
This was really good and easy! My few notes: * I used beef bouillon and not stock and it was fine, and I didn't feel it needed any added salt. * I used about 1.25 lbs of stew meat, and it still had meat in every bite. * Added a dash of Worcestershire sauce as others have recommended. * Added frozen peas. Next time I think I will add more veggies because I like a lot of veggies in my soups. * Only used 3/4 cup of barley, added when soup was boiling, and did cook the full 3 hours. Will definitely make this again!

Simple Turkey Chili
My son loves this. I use black beans, and a little less garlic, and add about a cup of pureed vegies for added nutrients (cauliflour and carrots) and to thicken it up a little. We like it thicker so I also don't add as much water. Throw it all in the crock pot and let it stew - easy, yummy winter meal.

Ginger Chicken with Cashews
This was great! I used 1 Trader Joe's chicken packet with 1.5 cups of water and less soy sauce and it still tasted good but wasn't too salty. I used frozen broccoli and cauliflour and sliced fresh zucchini that I added with the sauce. My kids loved it.
