Bread and Butter Pickles II

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2012
This was my first attempt at pickles. It was an easy recipe and the reviews were great. Warning to others though about the turmeric though. It is a counter stainer. Make sure to pour over another container and don't set the jars on counters after filling or you might get yellow ring stains. A little cleaner and all was well again. Thanks for a fun recipe.

Classic Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2012
I put a simple twist on this and use puff corn. I love Carmel corn but dislike the kernels or hard bits and covers that come with the popcorn. Puff corn is big and of course puffy with none of the tooth breaking elements. Think of puffed cheetos without the cheese flavor. Cheetos brand makes it as do a few other companies. I also love to throw in cashews or other nuts. Just made two huge batches to give for Christmas. Always gets rave reviews except for my husband who groans at me that he does not have the willpower to not eat way too much of it! Blessings.

Easy Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2013
I first tried this recipe in Germany 24 years ago! It was a quick go to, delicious crowd pleaser. I also add a bit of real vanilla and a bit of cinnamon. It is very easy and tasty. What more could you want in a cobbler. My recipe is folded, spilled on and well used. I have copied this for dozens of other home cooks. My hubby loves it warm with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream.. Blessings!
