Addictive Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2014
This was great but the cornstarch left me with bits throughout the sauce. I whisked it as I added it but it didn't completely dissolve. Idk why as I never had that problem. I wound up throwing out the first batch of sauce and making a second with less 'starch' - you really don't need as much as the recipe calls for. All in all tho, this is a keeper. Thanks for sharing.

Polish Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2013
This recipe wasn't as great as I hoped it would be. My bf liked it but I won't make it again... I've made other versions I liked much more. Thanks anyway. Maybe it just wasn't my cup of tea?

Spinach Arancini

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2013
This recipe is very time consuming but well worth it! Honestly, this is one of the best recipes on this site! I absolutely adore these little rice balls! I came across this recipe by accident, found it interesting and saved it. A few weeks later, I made them. I few days later, I made them again! I've made these about 5 times so far; I'm actually cooling the rice mixture now lol. Thank you so much for posting this recipe. I love these hidden recipes with only a few ratings that turn out to he a hit. I use multiple blogs, cooking shows and different websites to find great recipes and this one is in my top 3! I serve it along side "the pioneer woman's" penne alla vodka. That's great too btw. Ok, enough ranting and raving! Thanks again! SIDE NOTE: if the saffron threads are too expensive or unavailable at your local grocery store, I heard Tumeric works great as a substitute. If anyone tries this or uses any other sub' please let me know! Mollie1983@yahoo.com

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2013
It's a good recipe but ten minutes in the oven isn't enough... The cookies were not fully cooked through! I threw then in another few minutes after reheating the oven again and they turned Rock hard. You need to time these perfect or they're a disaster. I'll try another recipe next time.

Quick Pork Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2013
I really like this recipe! I omitted some of the vegetables and added more soy sauce. I don't think one tbsp is enough for all that rice. Thanks for the recipe! It was a great guide for making my own variation.

This was a really simple recipe and I absolutely LOVED it! Next time I'll leave out the raisins... It's just my personal preference. Thank you to "Pop-Pop Sam", his legacy will live on :)

Tiramisu II

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2013
I really enjoyed this tiramisu BUT the lady fingers were way too soggy! I took the advice of my fellow allrecipes members and doubled the coffee/liquor mixture and dipped the lady fingers instead of drizzling on top. Bad idea... My suggestions, Next time I will double only the coffee, not the rum. It was too "rummy" for my liking. I thought if I had too much cake I'd get drunk lol! I didn't use VERY strong coffee though. Also, I will only dip the lady fingers for a second! Definitely don't let them sit in the liquid mixture more than a second or two! It absorbs way too much, that's why everyone's having to double or triple their coffee/rum mixture. Trust me, you'll avoid the soupy mess in the bottom of the pan if you follow these instructions. Besides those alterations, I'd stick to the rest of the recipe AS IS. It was delicious! Oh, I almost forgot... I did let it sit in the fridge for 24 hours before sinking my teeth in it. Other members suggested the longer you let it sit, the more amazing the flavor gets; I'd have to agree! I'm on Day two and its even more delicious! Thanks for the recipe Christine ;)

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2013
I really enjoyed this recipe - and I typically hate meatloaf! I was told it was the best meatloaf my boyfriend and his mother ever had! I know it was the best I've had. The one thing I did different, as suggested by other reviewers, was to put the sauce mixture on top of the meatloaf too. The sauce on the bottom didn't stick to the loaf; I guess because of the grease? The next time I make this ill place the sauce on the bottom And TOP of the loaf. Bottom line, This recipe was great!
