Michell Jenny's Challah

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2004
This is my first and the best Challah!! Not having a bread machine, I hand knead it for 15 minutes. It turned out great! I also brush some egg york with honey on the surface before baking. Oh this is so good my family couldn't stop eating. A must-try recipe!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2004
I reduce the butter to 1/4 cup, and suger to 1/2 cup. It's delicious and not too sweet! I also bake it for 35 minutess in stead of 60 minutes. It's a lighter and tender version. But my family love it! Thank you so much for the idea!!

Lower Fat Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2004
This is an incredible banana bread receipe! It looks perfect when done. It was so moist, fluffy, and tasty with dense butter flavor (althought I use margarine). I reduced suger to 1/2 cup. My fiancce (from south) wasn't a banana bread fan at all. But this one is an exception. He said this is the BEST banana bread he had ever had!! a MUST TRY recipe!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2004
I gave my fiance this recipe to make it. The stiring of cold cream chesse with ingredients was a bit tough and odd. The stuffing was tasty but each mashroom has such thick layer of cream cheese. We needed more mashrooms to spray out. However, this could make a good dish of Hors d'Oeuvres for party.

Dutch Apple Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
I think I put too much apple pieces and the whole dough looks like 'apple loaf'. It looks ugly when it comes out with all the chunks of apple. But when I bite into it... it's awsome! Definitely a keeper! (I used whole wheat flour btw and still very very good).

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2004
My fiance made this dish for our Valentine's Day party. It could be improved. I would bake it uncovered so the cheese would be brown instead of being mushing. And keep the artichoke cut into quarters, instead of chopping up, to preserve the artichoke flavor in the dip. Overall, it is not too bad.
