Whiskey Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2014
Excellent Cake! Easy to make, and perfect the way the recipe is written. I like the crunchy bottom crust that formed from the morsels. We all don't like nuts, so none were added. My daughter raved about how good it was, still warm, out of the pan. Can't wait to have more tomorrow (since the reviews are saying it's better the second day!).

Salmon Stew (Abalos Style)

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2014
Great Recipe! I took the advice of other reviewers and used Chicken broth instead of water, added one can of Lobster bisque, and veggies (sliced carrots, and cubed sweet potatoes). I also simmered it for a couple of hours, mostly so the carrots would be cooked thoroughly. I served it over rice pilaf, instead of plain rice, also. Delicious!

Easy Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2012
Very Easy to make! Much easier than my Mom's old recipe..but I did use her lemon sauce recipe to make warm sauce to drizzle over this. Sorry for posting so many pictures. It didn't look like it worked!!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2003
I made this first for my niece's graduation party. Everyone loved it! I then made it for a bridal shower, and it wasn't as much of a hit. It seems to work best at informal parties. And it's really worth the time it takes to make it!
