Your Kids Will Never Know it's Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
This tuna casserole recipe uses a chicken gravy instead of the average cream of mushroom soup, giving it a less fishy taste. Great for feeding a family when one kid doesn't like tuna!

Aunt Ro's Baked Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2012
Very good! My only complaint/warning is to be aware of what kind of bbq sauce you are using. I used Stubbs and it made the beans very (unexpectedly) spicy, which the kids didn't like!

Hearty Vegetable Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2012
I've made a couple of different veggie lasagnas and after the last one, I decided not to do lasagna without meat again. the vegetarian ones were never half as good as the meat ones. When I came across this recipe I wanted to give it one more try, because of all the good reviews. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Something about the combination of these particular ingredients....YUM. The only thing I change was using half the mushrooms, fresh basil, and yellow instead of green pepper.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2012
I usually make Bisquick pancakes... but when I made these the kids said "you should ALWAYS make these pancakes, Mom!" So I will. My only complaint was that I thought I could taste the vinegar. Next time I will only put in 1 tablespoon.

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2012
If you have some fresh picked blackberries sitting on the counter and are trying to decide what to do with them... MAKE THIS COBBLER! My kids and I had planned on making a blackberry pie with berries we had picked around the neighborhood. I went to online to find a good pie recipe and came across this cobbler one. I decided to make it because I didn't feel like making pie crust. Everyone seemed fairly disappointed that I wasn't making pie but boy were they eating their words when they took a bite of this cobbler! Numerous people said it was the best cobbler they had ever tasted and I completely agreed. I doubled the recipe, both crust and fruit, and added a bit of vanilla and cinnamon to both. I also used brown sugar instead of white in the fruit mixture, and cooked it in a 13x9 glass dish. Served with vanilla ice cream on top it was heavenly.
