I'm 21, no children, a long term boyfriend, and four female pet rats. I started off by cracking eggs for my mom when I was 3 and since then have progressively helped her out more with cooking/baking until i started cooking on my own when i was 10 with the thanksgiving dinner. So far, i'm best with chocolate chip cookies, but still get tons of compliments on the rest of my cooking. Due to health problems, i dont cook often and when i do its usually some more mild Japanese dishes or herb marinated chicken since its what i can handle. I spend most of my time gaming, knitting, crocheting and spinning yarn.
My favorite things to cook
Sweets and meat.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We dont really have any other than thanksgiving dinner.
My cooking triumphs
At 10, my mother was sick during thanksgiving dinner so i ended up cooking the whole dinner besides the turkey and stuffing. (cooked green beans, mashed potatoes, blueberry muffins, two pumpkin pies, sweet potatoes, and cranberry relish. Would say i cooked the cranberry jam but i dont consider opening a can and plunking its deliciousness onto a plate 'cooking' haha)
My cooking tragedies
Tried making onigiri. That just ended miserably.
