Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2011
I made this for the varsity/JV basketball teams (35 kids!) and it was a HUGE hit!! 10 pounds of ground beef later, one boy said it was the best meal yet! I did use 1/2 ketchup and 1/4 barbeque sauce, put everything in the crockpot on low for 6 hours. Success!

Grilled Roasted Red Pepper and Ham Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
Delicious!! I used 3-cheese bread from Panera. They are thick sandwiches, but very, very good!

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
My darling husband raved about this frosting! I did, however, only use 3 cups of confectioner's sugar because we thought it was sweet enough. Thanks!

Tater Tot Casserole II

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
Loved it! And the only thing I changed was that I used cream of chicken instead of cream of mushroom (that was all I had and I figured ... what the heck?). Great recipe and my DH even said it was fantastic!

Absolutely incredible! Didn't have dill, so didn't use it and it still turned out fantastic! The almonds were awesome!!

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
Excellent! I followed the recipe exactly, and although I will probably omit the salt next time, DH said it was great. Made it with asparagus, wild rice and strawberries on the side -- delish!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2006
I have no idea what happened here, but this didn't turn out well at all for me and I didn't change anything. Usually, DH will gobble up the leftovers, but he didn't even care if I saved this or not. Oh well, thanks anyway!

Tuna Noodle Casserole II

...and I quote 'honey, you'll have to make this one again'. Only thing I changed was to add 1/2 a can more of cream of mushroom soup and Ritz crackers on top. Excellent recipe!

Chicken and Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
I loved it, he loved it, it's a keeper! I used chicken broth and canned mushrooms and also didn't have cornstarch, so I used flour to thicken. Soooo simple!

Any time my kids eat every bite, that automatically generates 5 stars for a recipe! My bf and his friend both loved it, too. Thank you!

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2005
Unbelievable! Out of all 3 kids, each one of them LOVED this recipe!! The youngest even said "you need to make this more often". I substituted the alcohol for chicken broth and only used two (14 oz.) cans of diced tomatoes. What a great find!!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2005
This was good, but not as fantastic as I would have thought by the other reviews. I, too, agree that with the cream cheese, the dish is missing that "stroganoff" feel to it. Also, it was very thin to me so I will probably try to thicken it with corn starch next time. I did, however, gave it "4 stars" because my fiancee' specifically asked for it in his lunch the next day. All-in-all, very easy slow-cooker recipe for busy nights.

Oh my GOSH! I've never eaten salmon in my life and my fiancee insisted I make it (healthy stuff, you know...). This was incredible! I LOVED the seasoning! Will definitely make again; plus, my boyfriend was talking about how good it was HOURS after dinner was finished!
