The first time I made this, I did exactly as the recipe said minus the green onions. Ever since, I've always made them to accompany steak or ribs (really any meat product.) With a vegetarian in the house, I didn't add bacon into the mixture, but still as a topping it tasted great. (Although in the mixture is just as delicious tasting c:) I always add cheese into the mixture AND on top. If you use half-slices of your favorite kind of cheese (tastes great with Colby Jack and Cheddar) on top and put bacon underneath, it's just delicious. I also add Nature's Seasoning Salt along with the pepper and salt and it does make a difference! This is a wonderful, easy recipe that's great for families, big or small. Love love love this recipe!
