Chocolate Frosting II

This was the perfect frosting for brownies. I made brownies, thought I had the frosting, but someone used it and did not replace it. This was made easily with what I had on hand. Thanks!

World's Best Lasagna

I added a grilled touch to this recipe. While we were grilling the meal for the night, I grilled a small pack of Italian sausage (5 or so), and a couple of green peppers, removed from the grill, cut into small pieces and let that all slow simmer with the sauce. I pureed the sauce for the lasagna to make it less "lumpy". Awesome recipe and nice layering. I don't boil my noodles either. Thanks!

Cinnamon Swirl Bundt Coffee Cake

Excellent texture and flavor. We omit the nuts. Still struggling with the cooling process thought. I coat the pan thoroughly, but have problems with it sticking and not sure how long it should cool before removing from pan. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you so much for the perfect breakfast (paired with fruit) or dessert!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

I am not a fan of spicy food, so following some of the other recommendations, I used the green chiles. I seasoned the chicken breasts with onion powder, white pepper, coarse black pepper and garlic and cooked them on the grill. That added a whole new layer of taste. I added instant mashed potatoes to thicken it up and served it with cornbread & toppings. Very tasty. Thank you so much for this recipe.

Sheboygan Grilled Brats

We have a family member who wants nothing to do with alcohol, so we use an N/A beer (O'Douls,etc) and we also add butter to the beer & onions. Nothing you'd make a regular meal out of because of all the fat, etc. But every once in a while, they are very tasty! Gotta have the hard roll as well.

Savory Vegetable Beef Soup

We have a family recipe that is almost identical except for chicken broth. We use a 2 or 3 to 1 ratio of beef broth vs chicken and maybe 2 cups V8. There is something about the chicken broth that gives it a spin. I also cut up a few potatoes, let them sit in there, then thrown them out. Helps to remove a small bit of the sodium. I also use low sodium broths & juice.

Green Bean Casserole I

This is the standard I always use. When I want to "fancy it up", I add sliced, crispy bacon and spaetzle that I pre-cook. Never any leftovers!
