I made four of these pies to take to the cottage recently, and they were simply amazing. Our guests couldn't get enough! We served each slice warmed with a big scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream. This was just a sensational dessert. Thank you for posting this recipe. It will be made often. (I used both frozen blackberries and blueberries as fresh were not available at the time.) They were perfect!

Simple Cauliflower Soup

This is the first time that I have made cauliflower soup. It was delicious! For serving, I sprinkled the top with toasted sourdough, "homestyle" cheese croutons. Everyone raved about this soup. Thanks for a great recipe!

Peach Cake II

This was a very easy recipe. It was ready to go into the oven in seconds. I did however, make a simple glaze (icing sugar and peach juice) and drizzled it over the slightly warm cake before serving! It was delicious. I will certainly be making this again.

Pumpkin Butter I

This is the best pumpkin butter that I have ever tasted! I have made several batches to give as gifts over the Thanksgiving Holidays, just as I did last year. Everyone raved about this. As suggested, it makes the perfect hostess gift!

Gooey Butter Cake I

This is truly an unbelievable cake. It tastes heavenly! I have made it twice, and both times there was not as much as a single crumb left. It's the perfect companion to a steaming, hot mug of coffee!

Molasses Banana Bread
