Baked Potato Soup I

I just cooked this tonight and my family loved this soup. This was my first time making it but I did add to it. I sautéed 1/2 cup of yellow onions and fresh garlic in EVOO. I added 3 chicken bouillon cubes. I had no problem with the roux using the 2/3 cup of flour; the consistency was perfect. I did add the salt right before serving as someone suggested in the comments. I didn't find that it was bland at all. Excellent recipe!!!

Best Bread Machine Bread

This was my first time making bread in a bread maker. This was a no brainer!! Simple as simple can get. This recipe was so easy to follow and the bread came out perfect!! My family enjoyed it with oil and roasted garlic. It was delicious!! You can't go wrong with this recipe!!!

Mild Cheesy Chicken Enchiladas

Just got them out of the oven and family really liked them. I didn't follow the recipe after reading the comments. I used one cup of sour cream, 1 1/2 cup of cheese and a half can of tomatoes and green chiles drained for the filling. Then I used another cup of sour cream, 3 cups of cheese and the other half can of tomatoes and chilies. There was no salt in this dish but it wouldn't hurt to use a dash after tasting it. I used more chicken in mine and I stuffed them nicely so I only used 8 shells. Once out of the oven, salsa goes really well with it. Mine were really cheesey and creamy because of the added sour cream. Jalapeno would be great to add to the mixture on top. Easy to make and great tasting. Happy eating....

Cinnamon Rolls From Frozen Bread Dough - EASY

They just came out of the oven and they are so tender!! The heavy cream really added to the tenderness. This is my go to recipe from now on. Using frozen dough was perfect and saved time. It's hard to improve on this recipe; I just used pecans instead and made a mistake and added the heavy cream to the icing but I wouldn't change what I did...it added to the flavor of the icing. I just added more sugar to get to the consistency I wanted. My photo was too large to upload... :-( Thanks so much...

Magic Cookie Bars I

I followed the instructions but used 3 cups of graham crackers and two cans of milk in the 9x13. Then I read the reviews but I think mine came out great. I will combine the cracker and butter and press in the pan next time. I think you can alter this anyway you would like...pecans, peanut butter chips etc. I loved the coconut in them. It puts you in the mind of the Girlscouts cookies. I also used a 1/2 cup more of chocolate. This is GREAT for any occasion and especially for a QUICK dessert!!

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

I made this because someone asked for an egg pie. I found this recipe and read the reviews and thought it would be a winner. I tweaked it like everyone else. I used a cup of whole milk and a can of evaporated milk. I used the extra yolk and 3 Tbls of butter. I got rave reviews!! It made two pies for me but no reviews mentioned that. I baked it on low heat 300 after seeing that the crust was cooking too fast. I cooked it for about an hour on 300. It turned out perfectly!!
