Mary's Meatloaf

I am new to cooking... and am only trying it to please my husband... this was an amazing meatloaf! Easy to follow recepie and great flavor! I have never been a a fan of meatloaf and had planned to have cereal when I made this for the family BUT to my suprise I loved it! Thank you for making cooking "dummy proof"!-- somehow I only gave this 1 star last time? We are still making this at least once a month and I can now say I am a meatloaf LOVER! and I can even make it without looking at the recipe!!

Pork Chops & Stuffing Bake

This is our new family FAVORITE! We season the pork chops with some paprika, salt, pepper and italian seasonings and then follow the recipe as is.... My 6 year old has gotten so good at this she can nearly make it herself and says she can't wait to get married so she can make it for her family!

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Awesome is an understatement! Made these for Dad to come over for dinner and they were a HIT! I wasn't sure what taco seasoning to use so I used chicken taco, added it to the shredded chicken and green chili the night before to make dinner fast and easy.... I have been craving them since we made them...I replaced all water with chicken broth and used diced onion instead of doing it by hand to save time. We won't make another enchilada for a long time other than this one!

Breaded Parmesan Ranch Chicken

Delicious! No left overs is the only downfall.... we have made this 3 times now... the last time I used a spicy ranch packet to mix it up a little.... YUM!! We also made it once cutting the chicken breast into strips... also very good!

This was so refreshing and tasty!! My family cleaned up the whole pan! I am new to cooking and have no idea what orange blossom honey is though so I used regular honey.... I also baked with a lemon and orange slice on top.... this is on our menu again this week!

Cajun Crawfish and Shrimp Etouffe

Delicious! Can't wait to make this again! Couldnt find fish stock so I had to use chicken instead and it takes awhile to de vein all those little shrimp but it was well worth the effort! I had my 13 yr old son help me chop, mince and dice to keep things moving along.... it was fun to cook with him and we will for sure be making this again!

Green Chili Stew

My husband is from New Mexico and I am a NEW cook.... with that said, this is the first thing he ever asked me to make again!! We used ground beef because that's how his mom used to make it but followed every other step just as is.... this was simply amazing and super easy to make!

Grilled Sea Bass

We have never made sea bass before but tried this tonight and my hubby ate up every last piece! This was quick and easy and had great flavor! I didn't have sea salt so I used regular salt instead.... served it with parmesan garlic brussel sprouts... delicious!

Green Pozole

The only problem was..... No leftovers! My husband is from New Mexico and LOVED this pozole! I have never been a fan of red chili so was excited to try this... It was a hit!! Changed nothing!! Amazing! Thank you!!

Healthier Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Great taste.... kinda a lot of work for potatoes in my opinion.... it's pretty messy to scoop all the filling back into the potatoe peel.... they did have great flavor though. I will not make these for my kids again ( they do not appreciate the work required ) I will make them again for adult only dinners.

Slow Cooker Barbecue Goose Sandwich

This did not start out well... I almost threw it out! I am so happy I didn't!! My husband and son kill their limit of geese as often as possible and until now we have only made jerky out of it... though this did NOT smell good to me AT ALL while I was browning it in the pan it turned out fantastic! You really would have no idea this wasn't shredded beef when you are done with the process... I placed into slow cooker over night so it cooked for 24 hours before we ate it.... it was nice and moist and literally just fell apart with little work... we will be making this often next winter!!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits I

Maybe I used the wron biscut mix? ( I used Jiffy ) These were a little bland for me and after easter dinner I still had over half left so I am guessing others felt the same... I will try them again with another mix and see if that helps? They did smell amazing as they cooked...

Chicken Enchilada Soup III

we followed the recipe as it is, including the masa harina even though lots of people replaced it.... it was a very tasty soup, but very thick. Great flavor and we will for sure make this again next fall!
