Czech Cabbage Dish

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
Excellent - shredded approx 4 cups of green cabbage, 1/2 cup onion (shredded), cooked 5 slices or bacon, shredded 1 small red bell pepper (seeded and de-veined) and thinly sliced one stalk of celery. Used 2 Tbls of bacon grease (no oil), 3 Tbls white vinegar, and otherwise followed the instructions, including blanching the cabbage. Served with Czech Pork Roast, which was an unbelievable combination.

Czech Roast Pork

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
Excellent recipe. Reduced caraway seed to 1 Tbsp., used Budsweiser Beer, only had 1 large onion. Amazing when scoring the pork when turning over as instructed - it separated into beautiful diamond squares that ultimately seared to crunchy yummies (chicharrones). Served with the recipe for Czech Cabbage Dish by dlynn11. Will definitely keep in the repertoire.

DONA MARIA® Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2013
This is our go-to fish taco recipe. We use cod, diced up into 1/2" cubes. I only use 1 tsp of Goya chicken bouillon in the sauce. We cook our fish in a non-stick pan in a little olive oil, and brush with the sauce when done. We also use finely shredded cabbage with the dressing suggested in this recipe. Add some homemade guacamole and salsa, and everyone LOVES this recipe. We serve on faintly buttered corn tortillas that are warmed in a skillet. EXCELLENT RECIPE!

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2013
Wow, this was excellent. I sliced an onion, separated into rings, and placed in bottom of cooker with three smashed garlic cloves. Placed beef on top, poured 12 oz jar of whole pepperoncini around roast. Dissolved 1 packet Goya beef bouillon in 1 cup of water and poured over all. Cooked 8 hours, turned roast over (shredding what I could), and submerged for another 2 hours in liquid. Everyone, including my Italian husband who doesn't like pepperoncini, loved it. Served on ciabatta rolls. Excellent, excellent, excellent.
