Old Fashioned Mac and Cheese
this was the most delicious mac and cheese I have ever eaten. I made it a complete meal by adding diced ham and frozen peas. and added a little grated cheddar and crushed ritz crackers to the top. also threw on some chopped green onion at serving time. I used all 3 cheeses as jayde instructed and they are a fabulous and delicious combination. the swiss really adds a subtle nutty sweetness that is unbeatable, please don't skip it. I doubled the recipe so I could freeze one for a busy day. I have the 2nd batch in the oven right now and it is making my tummy rumble just smelling it baking. if you like good old fashioned American comfort food, this is the recipe for you. thank you jayde, you really outdid yourself with this delicious recipe.

Mexican Tinga
thank you so much, fredda. I have never heard of tinga, let alone tasted it. I read the recipe and decided it was something my family would love, and I was right. I did change it up a bit by cooking it in a croc pot, adding juice of a lime, abt 2t of cumin, and a small bunch of chopped cilantro. this was soooooooooooooooo delicious and easy, I can't thank you enough. used tostada shells, then placed a bit of shredded lettuce on the bottom, then some chopped roma tomatoes, the tinga, and topped with some Mexican crema, a spoonful of guacamole, a spoonful of salsa, and some chopped green onions. hot sauce available for those who wanted it. soooooo good. thank you so very much for sharing this family recipe.

Unbelievable Chicken
this was really a fantastic marinade. I used it on bone in pork chops instead of chicken and it turned out great. I used a small blob of honey, prolly about 2 tablspns, instead of brown sugar cuz that's what I had on hand. I smoked them on our traeger for about 1 hour per side as they were pretty thick. served them up with chef johns broken spaghetti risotto, and pickled sweet and sour beets, made with fresh beets just harvested. all of these recipes found on this site. thank you, ar is fantastic.
