Okay...this is my first review of a recipe. I made this bread just like the recipes stated and it was soooooo good! Then I made a few changes simply to make it more nutritous and lower calorie. I used applesauce for the oil, vanilla Greek yogurt for the buttermilk, 1/2 brown sugar 1/2 stevia, 1/4 c egg beater and 1real egg, 1/2 whole wheat flour 1/2 all purpose flour. My family loved the healthier version! I only had two smaller loaf pans so I reduced the temp to 325 and baked them for 50 minutes.....perfect! I added chocolate chips to one loaf. This is a great recipe that you can easily modify to meet your own taste.
