Grilled Peaches

Just made this as a side dish with dinner tonight and it was great, but gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think it could be even easier, and also I think the cook time is too long and made the peaches a little mushy. I used a pan grill (instead of a real grill) and sprayed with a little Pam. Would have been better to cook maybe 3 minutes each side instead of what the instructions say, which I feel is too long. The flavors with the balsamic glaze (I used a store-bought one) and blue cheese crumbles are amazing, but maybe go a little light on the glaze to keep it from being too sweet.

Easy Marinated Pork Tenderloin

This tastes great - definitely didn't need the salt and to be honest next time I'm going to use half the recommended amount of soy. I think each slice needs a little juice from the pan to get the desired flavor, but it was a little too salty. Otherwise this recipe is amazing and my husband loves it. I served with potatoes roasted with sea salt, pepper, garlic and rosemary and it paired perfectly.

GrannyLin's Barbeque Ribs Made Easy

I am a newlywed who is trying her luck in the kitchen. I had never made ribs before so I was nervous. I needed a recipe that only required a few ingredients, so this was perfect. Don't be scared by the broiling thing before sticking them into the slow cooker - this almost made me look for a different recipe, as I had never broiled anything before either and thought it might be too many "firsts". You don't need them to "brown" as the instructions say - this confused me - just leave them for about 5 minutes each side. Easy. After broiling, I put 3 pounds of baby back ribs in the slow cooker with onions on low heat for 3 hours, then added the barbecue sauce. You don't need 18 ounces, seemed like way too much. I also didn't use the water. I kept cooking on low another 2 hours. The hubs called to say he would be home early, so even though the recipe called for 8 hours on low, I just decided to cook it on high for another hour and a half. It worked great, and before serving them I took the advice of other reviewers and broiled each side again for 5 minutes each, generously applying bbq sauce. I must say they turned out great, so much better than I expected, especially for my first try!! And I didn't even follow the recipe exactly, ahhh the magic of slow cookers. Will definitely make these again.
