Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2013
Use this recipe often with a little addition of minced fresh ginger and sometimes fresh chili. I've made it with roasted chicken breast and also with chopped chicken thigh on the stovetop and cook the vegetables and throw them in towards te end. Always turns out very tasty. I serve it with egg fried rice and brocollini or pak choi salad.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2013
Great recipe but made with roasted chicken breasts would never buy canned chicken. It was delicious hot with crackers and also good served cold in endive 'cups' on a circular party platter. I'm going to try this as a stuffing for baked bell peppers.

Autumn Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2012
Followed this to the recipe and it was good and nicely spiced. Next time I'll make up a spiced crumb topping to liven up the texture, and maybe use the hazelnuts in the crumb mix.

Apple Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2012
Had high expectations for this recipe but the flavor just wasn't there for me, a little too sweet and not enough spice. Next time I'll use a sharper apple with more flavor.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2013
Really nice banana bread. Thanks for sharing. Made to recipe w ith addition of cup of walnuts. Nice texture and not too heavy would make superb sliced lunch box treat or an interesting trifle base. It's good slathered with chocolate cheese spread, the Philadelphia variety. Also think next time might add a cup of butterscotch chips (kids request) instead of walnuts.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2013
We love potato soup, this one is ok as is and is a great soup to use up veggies and tweak. Another tip if you like spicy is to also add carrots, omit heavy pepper and instead add Cajun seasoning, whiz up in blender, omit the ham and instead crispy fry smoked bacon for a soup topping along with shredded cheddar. My kids also like to top with crushed tortilla chips/breadsticks, similar recipe via pioneer woman blog.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2013
Way too sweet for my taste and the brandy was lost, however the recipe made a lot of cookies and my family enjoyed them. If I were to make this up again I'd use the brandy to make up a drizzle glaze for the cookies.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
This is the best ever blueberry muffin recipe my hungry family love them. I use frozen blueberries and they turn out great and very fluffy. I use stevia blend sugars to reduce the cals. There's a little too much topping so I box up the leftover and freeze it for the next batch, works perfect straight from the freezer.
