...Another great recipe Robbie! Nice and spicy! I used italian flat leaf parsley and ketchup instead of the tomato paste. So good right off the grill...will be mixing up this marinade for many years to come...thanks!

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2005
These are THE BEST fish tacos I have had since vacationing in Oceanside... The sauce is REALLY good and the batter was perfect. It was a little spicy for the kids so I will use only 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper next time. The only change I made was used fresh lemon juice instead of lime (didn't have on hand) and omitted the jalapeno pepper..I used a lb of talapia and fried in my cast iron skillet. To avoid the fish fry smell in my house I had my husband fry on the grill burner outside...I also served with homemade pico de gallo...Sooooo good!!!

I love these snacks that use breakfast cereal as a main ingredient...I don't mind feeding it to my 2 yr old... This Caramel Snack Mix is really good. I used rice chexs, chopped pecans and chopped almonds that I roasted...perfect mid morning or afternoon snack.

French Toast Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2006
...This was exactly what I was looking for this morning..Didn't have enough milk for oatmeal so I had to come up with something quick. We LOVED these little french toast fingers! I didn't even bother cutting off the crust and used Wonder bread and smuckers strawberry preserves. They reminded us of a jelly donut. Think I will experiment with the filling and try cream cheese...peanut butter...nutella...just be careful not to overfill...Thank You Mavis!!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
Loved this recipe too!! I used left over roasted chicken breast and au gratin potatoes (diced)!!...so good. Instead of the sliced carrots and green peas I used 2 cups of frozen mixed veggies (simmered in chicken broth)..also omitted onion since there was plenty of onion flavor in my potatoes...added about half a cup of left over cheese sauce I had from the potatoes and a little more milk to the liquid mixure..used a 10 inch pie plate and a very flakey pie crust..brushed egg white on the bottom and top crusts..."yum-o"..next time I have left over chicken will make this one again!! Thx Roberta

Killer Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
I made this for my sons 13th birthday party...followed the recipe exactly as written and was impressed with how creamy and flavorful this cheesecake turned out to be. The sour cream topping was a nice addition and looked like frosting. I topped each piece of cake with a chocolate covered strawberry...a big hit with all. Thanks Austntachs!!

French Pastry Pie Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2006
..Love this recipe. Had a bunch of Granny Smith apples and decided to make Fried apple pies. This pastry was easy to use, held up when fried and resulted in a sweet flaky crust for my apple filling. The only change I made was used butter rather than shortening. Think I will try cherry next...Thanks TJ!

Sweet Spicy Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2006
I love the fact that you grill these wings rather than fry. Didn't even bother separating and tipping wings, just seasoned with a little garlic salt and grilled. The sauce was perfect for the kids as is, so we coated half of the wings with half the sauce and added more cayenne pepper to taste for the other half....SO GOOD!! THX LISA!!

Ricardo's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2006
I'm so happy I tried this recipe...not disappointed at all. I followed except for the spices. I have a ton of italian seasoning and used 1 tsp of that...after mixing for 30 mins I let rest for aprox 30 more..put olive oil on a cookie sheet..did not roll dough out..instead I just worked it into the pan with my fingers. Topped with my best marinara sauce, grated parmesan and sliced provolone...so good! I'm mixing up another batch right now....THX RICARDO!!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2006
I'm not sure if this pizza crust is the best...or if I was just so amazed I could make pizza ?! I divided dough and made lunch (cheese pizza) and will make bread sticks out of the other half... I am giving 5 stars because of the ease of this recipe and the flavor and texture of the final product...Thanks Jay!!

Apple Cake in a Jar

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2006
These were fun to make...had to put the baby down for a nap and clear the counters to start. I boiled my jars and greased them with butter flavor crisco. Shredded enough granny smith apples to make 3 cups (drained of juice) and mixed all in my stand mixer...Instead of 2/3 cup water I used the juice and enough water to make 2/3 cup...filled 8 jars with 1 cup of batter and baked on a cookie sheet. Just before they were done I threw the lids and rings in boiling water to sterilize and they sealed wonderfully. I couldn't wait until morning to taste so I opened one while it was still warm and thought it tasted very yummy...Can't wait to see what everyone else thinks...Thanks for this recipe, I will definitely make again.

Grilled Rock Lobster Tails

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2007
...We love lobster! I've never had the nerve to bring home a live one...so decided to give these a try. They were actually very easy to prepare. We just split them down the back, brushed on the marinade and grilled them right side up for a few minutes while continuing to baste. Just kept turning until they looked done. Ours took a little longer to cook and they came right out of the shell. Even with all the basting, we still dunked ours in butter...so good!
