Followed the recipe exactly, way too cakey, bland... I did not care for this recipe.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2008
Great recipe... picky husband said he would eat it anytime. I made the following changes: 1 tsp poultry seasoning, a few shakes of garlic powder, added corn and diced potato, cooked vegetables in chicken broth, used 2 cups chicken broth for sauce, 3/4 cup milk, pre-baked egg-washed bottom crust for 5 mins, baked for 40 mins at 375 degrees. Yummy.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I was looking forward to having this for New Year's Day dinner. It looked promising before I put it into the oven. But, it changed in the oven into a dry mess. And, I didn't overcook it. It would have been better to have just eaten it without sticking it in the oven. Anyway, I ate about two bites and my husband did eat a serving but had no desire to keep the rest so it got dumped into the trash. What a waste!

followed the recipe exactly - turned out fantastic and yummy. Very easy and just the right amount for a sweet something without a lot hanging around to tempt you.

BAKER'S Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2007
Yummy! Followed the recipe but made a couple of additions with a tsp of cinnamon and chopped pecans. I did use chocolate chips instead of the chunks. I will definitely make these again.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
Everyone raved about the extremely moist and tasty turkey. Followed all directions except substituted chicken broth for the water/bouillon and added cut up carrots, onions, and celery to the pan and cavity. Made absolutely delicious gravy. Will use this recipe from now on. Others asked for it as well.

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2007
Excellent recipe. I used Frontera Tomatilla Salsa which was perfect. I also added some cilantro to the chicken mixture. I heated the chips prior and had no issue with sogginess. This has become a new family favorite.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2005
Excellent soup! My husband was skeptical when he saw me making it, but after a few bites he proclaimed it better than any soup he could buy at a restaurant. A can of corn is a great addition.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2004
This was just awful. The sauce had very little flavor (no spice) and was certainly not something I would eat over rice. My husband ate about 3 bites before pushing his plate away. Needless to say, it went in the garbage.

This was just 'ok'. My husband barely ate any of his. Will not make it again.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2003
Big hit with my husband. Perfect for cold days and the sniffles. I used store bought frozen egg noodles (cooked them in the soup) and roasted chicken. Served with a couple of pillsbury cheddar and garlic frozen biscuits. Couldn't be easier!
