Dark Chocolate Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
Excellent sauce and very easy to make. I did have to add 1/2 cup more milk to thin it from a pudding consistency to more of a sauce.

Dannon Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
Delicious! Because my (non-fat) yogurt was so well drained (cream cheese consistency), I found the batter to be too thick. So I added 1 cup of low-fat buttermilk with 1/2 tsp. of baking soda. I baked the muffins in extra large muffin tins at 350 for 30 minutes. They were very tender.

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
I have finally found a coleslaw recipe that my husband will eat. I also substituted yogurt and sour cream for the mayonnaise last time I made it, because I didn't have enough mayo. It was just as delicious.

Oatmeal Cake III

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
My husband says my oatmeal cake is better than his mother's. Thanks! I get so many requests to make this cake that I'm tired of making it.

I'll stick with my old faithful recipe. This was okay, but not great.

Baked Beans II

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
Try making this recipe with several different kind of beans (well-drained). I also left out the vinegar but added onions and a touch of molasses. My husband couldn't get enough. Neither could our guests!

Batter White Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
Pretty good. I prefer the old-fashioned kneaded bread. This doesn't rise as high. But, it's a good alternative if you don't have time to knead. It has good flavor.

I made these for a party, and the guests couldn't get enough of them. A nice alternative to plain nuts.

Cheesecake Cupcakes

This can be done with Splenda and be sugar free too. They were good but a little too bland. Next time I'll try adding some lemon or lime juice for some spark.

Surprise South Beach Mashed 'Potatoes'

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
I made this when I had nieces and nephews over. They loved these special "potatoes." They would have never eaten them if they knew the "potatoes" were really cauliflower! Even my husband, who doesn't like cauliflower, said that he would eat this anytime.

Delicious! I couldn't get a sirloin tip, so I used on boneless chuck roast. Worked out just fine.
