Naan
Excellent Naan bread! I made this in my bread machine reducing the amount of bread flour to
3 1/2 cups as others have suggested. I dissolved the yeast in the warm water as instructed and let sit for 10 minutes. I then added the additional wet ingredients to the yeast/water mixture and poured into bread machine pan. I poured the dry ingredients on top and set the machine to dough cycle. After the dough cycle was complete I made into balls and let rise until doubled in size. Someone posted to roll out as thin as possible so the bread would bubble and cook properly but I would not do that again. The ones that were a bit thicker were much nicer in texture and more tender. I cooked the Naan on my griddle rather than the grill (it was raining outside) and they turned out fabulous. The recipe made 21 pieces which I laid flat on cookie sheets and put in the freezer for about an hour. Removed and stacked in freezer bags (pre-freezing prevents them from sticking together) and returned to the freezer. They freeze and thaw out beautifully. The taste and texture is the same out of the freezer and thawed, as it was fresh off the griddle. Great recipe!
