Simple Tuna Melt
I enjoyed the recipe thoroughly, though I did have a few issues. Next time I don't intend to put my bread in the oven while it preheats. I ended up with very, very toasty bread. I also ended up with extra tuna salad, and that's after putting a giant lump onto the sandwich! Thankfully I do have some crackers around today to make up where the sandwich lacks. I omitted the salt and the vinegar... salt because I really don't need any more in my diet, and vinegar because I just don't like the stuff. I'd have to say that the people making this recipe probably aren't looking for haute cuisine--just a quick and tasty lunch. Don't worry folks, "brooklynsurecooks" seems to be queening. Maybe it's his time of the month. ;)

Amish White Bread
My family absolutely LOVES this bread... We don't have a whole lot of money, so I decided to start making bread to save us from having to go buy it. I cut the recipe in half and made a loaf, but my loaf pan was too small and it came out pretty weird looking. >.> On my second try I cut the recipe in half, then cut the dough in half. I got two beautiful small loaves, one of which I kept for me and my boyfriend. The other I gave to his sister, and now I've been recruited to make all the bread for Thanksgiving. O.O Our 4-year old niece doesn't like bread, but with this recipe she'll sneak over and steal more when she thinks no one is looking. It's delightfully sweet without being overwhelming and goes great with so many other foods - we've had it with soup, chili, even used a few slices in place of hamburger buns! I recommend it for anybody who likes tasty, thick, delicious bread.
