Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
OMG!!! My husband said he could literally eat this until he got sick! It is so good. I also didn't use quite as much sugar/cinnamon as called for, and I used just regular old vanilla extract. This is my new favorite dessert recipe.

Banana Bread VIII

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
This was the best recipe. And super easy and helpful when I was in a pinch-I didn't have any eggs but promised the kiddos we could make banana bread! I followed a previous suggestion and only used 1 cup of flour. It made it much more moist and gooey!!! Yummy!

Garlic Creamed Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2007
My family enjoyed this recipe. I did substitute cream of potato soup as my husband doesn't mike mushroom but otherwise I kept it the same. I served it over egg noodles. Good comfort food.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2007
LOVED IT! I put the glaze on bottom and there was definitely enough to pour some on top. I also omitted the ginger. This meatloaf was easy and awesome!

Chicken Caesar Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2007
I would say this recipe is definitley very good but not 5 star worthy. Not sure why but it is just good. I can't stomach hot lettuce though so both times I have made it I cook the pasta and chicken and then chill them before adding them to the lettuce. It is pretty good though as I have made it multiple times!

French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2007
This recipe was awesome! The meat was so tasty and tender. I made it exactly as written-except I didn't have a bay leaf. Didn't seem to detract from the flavor though. I will definitely make this again-Espeically since it only took about 10 minutes to get in the crock pot!

Black Bean and Corn Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
I made it as written and it just didn't taste right: the chicken and tomatos over pasta. I definitely wouldn't make it again...

My 20 month old and my husband loved this. I omitted the olives and it still turned out great. A definite keeper.

Wild Rice and Beef Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
I really liked this recipe but didn't love it. It did come out a little dry. My family isn't big on water chesnuts or mushrooms so I omited these and added in corn. Overall it was pretty good.

Chicken Veggie Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
This was not good at all. It needed to be cooked much longer than the recipe called for and overall it was very very bland. I definitely won't be making it again.

Nana's Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
Oh my gosh! This recipe is great. It turned out so delicious. I did read the previous reviews and made a few changes. I used 5 apples, I made 1.5x the topping, I used 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar and I used half the amount of cinnamon. It was so wonderful. I can't wait to make this for friends and family!

Awesome guacamole. I made it and it was literally gone in 20 minutes. Everyone said it tasted like restaurtant quality. Only thing I changed was added 2 tsp salt instead of 1. Will definitely make again

Quick Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2004
This recipe was great. Easy to make and delicious. I was hesitant to cook chicken in the microwave though. I just baked it in the oven at 350 for about 45-50 minutes. My husband loved it. I will definitely make it again.
