J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits
I made these last night to go with gravy and they were so easy and quick and delicious. I used cold butter instead of shortening and didn't use the full cup of milk. They turned out perfectly!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
This was awesome. I have never made a pot roast before, and it couldn't have been easier or tasted better. I tweaked the original recipe a bit based on other reviews I'd read. First, I seared my roast beforehand. I also used low sodium cream of mushroom. And in place of water I used 1 cup of beef broth and 1/4 cup of red wine. I left it cooking on low for about 9 hours. It was falling apart and moist and wonderful. I will definitely make it again!

Dessertlover's Classic Caramel Sauce
I tried this just now. It turned into a science project. I'm sure it's just me. I've never made caramel sauce before. But it ended up turning into a strange smelling powdery substance. Most of the other reviews seem positive, so I'm going to give it another go. Hopefully I will get a little closer to my desired result!
