I'm 13 and I have been cooking for as long as I can remember. I remember helping my grandma bake pies and browning meat for my mom. And I've always enjoyed helping. I've made whole meals for a few years now. I live in the country so I enjoy home cooking.(yes, I do call dinner supper) Although I don't really have any of my own recipes yet, I'm sure I will make some over the years.

My cooking triumphs
Decorated cupcakes to look like a stuffed pig I had when I was little. I've always experimented with spices on noodles, and once I made a lunch with my spiced noodles and chicken.
My cooking tragedies
Yellow cake recipe tasted like corn bread.Caramel didn't turn out very good at all. Once I forgot to put peppermint extract in my peppermint bark.

Milk Chocolate Peppermint Bark
Great recipe! There weren't any regular candy canes at the store so I got a bunch of small ones, and it turned out very nicely! The only thing I'd change is the part where you put the white on the milk chocolate. If you let it set fully, the layers will break apart when making pieces. If you put the second layer on while the milk chocolate is still mostly liquid, they will set together.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
This is no doubt the best pancake recipe ever! I added just a little bit more milk, though. These pancakes gave me a whole new definition for fluffy. They tasted great and were very filling. I almost made a whole new batch this morning!
